In my last apartment the hangers lived in a plastic bag behind the door. Every wash day meant untangling forty of them to get six.
This is a bar that goes on the wall above the washer. Hangers hang on it in a row, nested, so you pull the front one and the rest stay where they are. There is a shallow tray on top for the clips and pegs that otherwise live loose in a drawer, and a second bar underneath for the towel you just used.
It comes in 11.8 in and 15.7 in. The short one is plenty over a washer. The long one if you want it over the sink or between two machines.
Space aluminium with a powder coat. It mounts with adhesive pads, which is the whole reason it works in a rental - no drilling, nothing to fill when you leave. That also means the wall has to be flat, clean and dry when you put it up. Wallpaper, rough plaster and a grubby tile are three ways to watch it fall off, and I have seen all three.
About 16.9 oz packed. Hangers, clips, a towel: yes. A wet winter coat: no. The maker publishes no load rating and I am not going to make one up.
What you get: the rail, the clip tray, the brackets and the adhesive pads. Hangers and clips are not included.
