The bin that is always in the wrong place

In a small kitchen the floor bin never sits where you need it. You peel a carrot, turn around, and it is behind your heel. You open the cupboard and the door swings into it.

So I stopped putting mine on the floor. This one hangs on the cupboard door I already open, right under the cutting board.

The hook drops over the top edge of the door. No drill, no bracket, nothing screwed into the melamine. If you would rather hang it on a wall, there is an adhesive hook in the box too. Pick one, keep the spare.

The lid is hinged, so it is not a separate piece you need a third hand for. Shut it and the smell stays in. Open it and the liner tucks under the rim, which means the bag does not slide down when you drop something heavy in.

Plastic body, 9 litres, wipe it with a damp cloth. There is no coating to peel off. Ivory if you want it to disappear against white cupboards, grey if yours are dark.

One thing to check before you order: the top edge of your door has to be flat. A rounded or moulded lip will not hold the hook.
