I pulled a 425 degree sheet pan out and set it directly on the gray mat without thinking. No melt, no smell, no mark on my counter. That sold me. Buying another set for my mom's place next time I see a need.
For under four bucks for three I really can't complain much. They're a little slippery against each other when stacked in a drawer, so I keep them slightly separated. On the counter they grip beautifully, just an odd quirk when stored together.
Two of the three had a tacky film that I had to wash off with dish soap before using, guessing packing residue. Once washed they were fine and the heat resistance is as advertised. Just wish they came ready to use out of the bag.
Used all three under serving dishes at a family dinner and everyone asked where I got them. They look clean and modern on the table instead of looking like kitchen gadgets. The cream one especially looks nicer than a plain cloth potholder.
I've been using these since spring and there's no cracking, peeling, or staining even after greasy bacon pans. They still rinse clean with just a sponge. Honestly better durability than the pricier set I had before these.
The non-slip surface really holds a serving bowl in place, which my old cork ones never did. My only gripe is that my biggest casserole dish hangs over the edge about an inch. I should have checked the 20 cm measurement, that one's on me. Still good for most pots and pans.
My air fryer basket gets crazy hot and I was tired of dragging out a folded towel every time. These sit right under it, grip the counter, and never budge. After six weeks of daily use there's no discoloration or smell.
I know they're meant as trivets but a 7.9 inch round is perfect under a pitcher of iced tea on the coffee table. No more water rings on the wood. I keep one by the couch and two in the kitchen and they've held up for months.
At 0.1 cm they barely take up any height in my cabinet, which is great. Only downside is they don't cushion much if you set something down hard on a glass tabletop, you still hear the clink. Functionally they protect the surface fine, I just expected a touch more padding.
I have a navy and cream theme going and these blend right in instead of clashing like my old bright red ones. The gray reads more like a warm taupe in person, which I actually prefer. Three colors means I can rotate them depending on the season.
They do what they say for a hot baking sheet or a pot of soup, but I set a screaming hot cast iron skillet on one and the silicone got a faint brown ring that won't scrub off. For the price I'll keep using them, just not for anything straight out of a 500 degree oven. The non-slip grip itself is genuinely good.
Liked the first set so much I ordered another one for our travel trailer. The compact size stacks flat in a drawer, which matters when you have about four inches of cabinet space. They handle a hot skillet straight off the camp stove without a mark.
I threw all three in the top rack after a pasta night and they came out looking brand new, no warping at all. My old woven mats started fraying after a month in the wash so this is a big upgrade. $3.99 for three was an easy call.
The cream one had a small curl at the edge right out of the package and wouldn't sit totally flat on the granite. It flattened out after a couple days under a stack of plates though, so no big deal. The gray and navy ones were perfect from the start.
My old cork trivets left scorch rings on the island, which drove me nuts. These are thin enough that they don't wobble under a heavy Dutch oven and I've had zero marks after two months of near daily use. Rinsing them takes five seconds.
I measured my bistro table before ordering and the 7.9 inch rounds fit perfectly with room for salt and pepper shakers. They grip my ceramic casserole dish so it doesn't slide when I set it down. The navy one lives on the table full time now.
