Size: rail: 8.5 in wide, 2.8 in deep, 1.8 in tall (21.5 x 7 x 4.5 cm). Box: 8.5 in wide, 3.1 in deep, 4.3 in tall (21.5 x 8 x 11 cm). Maker measures by hand, so allow a small tolerance either way

Wet umbrellas end up on the floor because there is nowhere else

You come in, you shake it off, and it leans in the corner dripping onto the tile. Or it lands in the closet on top of the coats. Neither of those is a place. Both are just the floor with extra steps.

This one goes on the door you already walk past. The whole back of it is a magnet, so it clings to a steel entry door - no screws, no glue, and nothing to patch when you move out. That is the entire install.

Two shapes, two jobs

The rail is the shallow one, 8.5 inches wide, 2.8 inches deep and 1.8 inches tall. A divider splits it in two, and the crook handle of a long umbrella hooks over the front lip with the shaft hanging down the door. The two slots keep the umbrellas apart instead of tangled.

The box is the deeper one, 8.5 inches wide, 3.1 inches deep and 4.3 inches tall. Folded umbrellas stand upright inside, handles up, so you grab the one you want instead of pulling out three. Three slots run across the front to let air through, and a clear tray sits at the bottom: the water lands in the tray, not on your floor. Slide it out, tip it in the sink, put it back.

Want both? They share a door. Box up top for the folding ones, rail underneath for the long one.

The one thing to check before you order

Hold a fridge magnet against your door. If it grabs, this will grab. If the door is wood, glass, aluminium or plastic, there is nothing for the magnet to hold and it will slide off. That is thirty seconds of checking, and it saves you a return.

About the weight rating

The maker publishes no load rating for this holder, so there is no load rating on this page. We are not going to invent one. Umbrellas, yes. Tools and heavy gear, no.

What you get: the rail version is one carbon steel rail. The box version is one carbon steel box with its clear drip tray. Two pack is two of the box version, so two boxes and two trays.

Box up top rail below

Got both shapes and stacked them, the box higher and the rail underneath. Folding umbrellas go up top, the long one hangs below. It keeps everything in one spot instead of three corners of the house.

Two months no rust

I have had it on a humid bathroom door for about eight weeks and the steel still looks new. The clear tray comes out easy to rinse. Money well spent for 22 bucks.

Great tray, weak slots

The drip tray is the best part, no more wet spots. That said, the three front slots are small and my chunky umbrella barely sits right. Compact ones are no problem at all.

No screws no glue

The whole back is magnet so the install is basically nothing. I put it on the steel door at our entry and it has not slid once. Nice for a place I will not live in forever.

Matte finish looks clean

The matte steel finish matches my door hardware better than I expected, no weird shine. Sizing worked out at 8.5 wide and it does not crowd the frame. It is a touch small if you own huge umbrellas though.

Wish it fit a wood door

I did not check first and my entry door is wood, so the magnet had nothing to grab onto. That is on me, the listing says to test it. Ended up moving it to the steel garage door and it works fine there.

Hooks the long one

My golf umbrella has a crook handle and it hangs perfectly over the rail lip with the shaft down the door. No more leaning it in the corner where it leaves a ring on the wood. Install was nothing.

Bought a second one

Sturdy steel, small gripe

The carbon steel feels solid and has held up through a wet spring without any rust spots. Only thing is the rail divider is a little tight for two thick-handled umbrellas at once. One at a time fits great.

The tray is the point

Slide out tray, dump in sink, put back. That is the whole maintenance routine and it beats mopping up puddles. I keep it on the bathroom door now since that is where the wet ones end up after a commute.

Good but no load rating

It does what it says for umbrellas and the magnet is strong. My only real complaint is there is no published weight limit so I am nervous to hang anything heavier. I get why they do not invent one, but I wish there was a number.

Rental friendly for sure

I rent and did not want to drill into the steel door. This clings right on and comes off clean when I move. I have the two pack, one on the front door and one on the back.

Works but check depth

The box is 3.1 inches deep which is fine for my compact umbrellas but my bigger golf one does not fit inside. It still hangs okay on the rail version I got for the lower spot. Just be aware of what you need to store.

I read the part about testing with a fridge magnet and did it before ordering. Mine grabbed hard, and the holder has not budged in two months. It holds two folded umbrellas and the long one hooks on fine.

Finally off the tile
