Narrow gaps are where storage usually stops: beside the fridge, between the washer and the wall, the strip next to the bin. These pieces are sized for those strips, and the ones that roll or pull out say so in the title.
Check the depth in the specs before ordering. A 6-inch gap is tighter than it looks once a door, a handle or a hose is in the way.
