The brush that lives on the floor

A toilet brush on the floor sits in its own water. Give it a week and there is a ring of it inside the cup, the bristles never really dry out, and it is usually the first thing a guest sees when they walk in.

This one hangs on the wall beside the bowl. The cup sits inside a polished steel collar, so it is off the floor and the tiles underneath stay dry and easy to mop. Nothing to bend down for, nothing to kick over.

You do not have to drill. The box has an adhesive pad and a screw kit. Wipe the wall clean, press the pad on and let it cure for a day before you hang anything on it - or put the screws in instead if you would rather. Renters tend to take the pad. It works on tile, glass, painted plaster and concrete, and not on rough, dusty or permanently wet walls.

It is 10.6 inches tall and 4.7 inches across. Two versions: a frosted glass cup, or a steel cup with a hollow draining base so the last of the water runs off instead of pooling under the bristles. The brush head is replaceable, so you can swap a new one onto the same handle later.

The factory rates the wall mount at 11 lb (5 kg). It is made for a brush, not for hanging towels off.

What you get: one wall mount, one 304 stainless handle, one brush head and one cup. Choose the frosted glass cup or the steel one.
