Not for: a gap narrower than 10.2 in - it needs that depth to sit flat on its casters. Sealing smells in: it is open on every side, which is the whole point, but it is not a lidded hamper. Hanging on a wall or a hook - this one lives on the floor. Wet laundry left in it for a week. Anything sharp, or hot, or heavy enough to bow the slats

The corner where everything piles up

Two rolled towels, a rolled up mat, and the laundry you were going to deal with at the weekend. All three on the floor, all three in the way of the door.

This is a bin for that corner. Not a rack, not a shelf - an open basket on four casters. 18.1 inches tall, 18.1 across, and only 10.2 inches deep, which is what lets it slide into the gap beside the washing machine where nothing else fits.

The sides are vertical slats, open all the way round. That is the part that matters. Rolled mats and rolled towels stand on their end between the slats and stay standing, instead of flopping over the way they do in a solid sided basket. You can see what is in there without lifting a lid off.

Four small casters under the base. You pull it out with two fingers, wipe the tiles, push it back. The whole thing is moulded plastic - thick enough to live in a wet room, light enough at 1.3 lb to lift one handed when you want to clean under it.

It comes in cream white, matte black and soft gold. The photos are the cream one.

One thing we will not do is make up a number. The maker publishes no weight rating for this bin, so there is no weight rating here. Fill it with towels and laundry and it is fine. Do not stand on it.

What you get: one bin, with its four casters already on the base. Nothing else in the box.

Corner finally stopped being a pile

You know that spot where towels and a rolled mat just accumulate on the floor? This was built for it. Slides into the corner by the door at 18 inches tall, holds everything upright, and the door swings clear now. Simple fix for a dumb problem.

Empty it one handed to clean

Light enough that I grab it with one hand, dump the towels in the wash, wipe inside with a cloth, and set it back. No weight rating on the listing is honest of them, I just don't overload it. Works exactly as described.

Soft gold is subtle, not flashy

Ordered the soft gold expecting something loud but it's a muted champagne tone, actually classy. Sits in my powder room holding hand towels. Docking a star because one caster squeaks a little, I'll hit it with a drop of oil.

Survived a wet bathroom fine

No lid means I actually use it

I've bought lidded hampers before and always ended up piling stuff on top of the lid instead of inside. This one is open so there's nowhere to pile, everything goes in. Weird thing to love about a bin but here we are.

Measured wrong, still made it work

I thought 10.2 inches was the width, it's actually the depth, so it was deeper than I planned for my narrow gap. My mistake, not the bin's. Ended up putting it beside the tub instead and it's been great there holding rolled towels.

Matte black looks way pricier

Got the black one for my guest bath and it looks like something from a boutique hotel, not a $30 bin. The slats are evenly spaced and the plastic has a nice matte finish, no shiny cheap look. Guests have asked where I got it.

Great for dry stuff, tile only

The slats let towels breathe which is nice, but I wouldn't put this in a wet shower area since water runs straight through the open sides. Also the casters don't love grout lines, they get stuck. Keep it on smooth floor and it's a good bin.

Nothing to assemble, came ready

Casters were already on the base when I opened the box, which honestly surprised me. Took it out, set it in the corner, done. No tools, no instructions needed. That's how it should be.

Bought a second for laundry

Liked the first one in the bathroom enough that I grabbed another for the laundry room. It's light at 1.3 lb so carrying it up the stairs empty is nothing. Only gripe is I wish there were a slightly taller version, 18 inches fills up fast with a family of four.

The best part is how easy it is to move for cleaning. I pull it out, mop under it, push it back, done in a minute. My old wicker basket I had to lift and it was always shedding. This thing weighs nothing.

Does what it says but it's clearly not meant for anything heavy. I tried loading it with a stack of wet beach towels and the base flexes a bit when you pull it. Fine for dry storage, just don't expect it to hold a full laundry load without some give.

Good bin, casters are basic

Solid little bin for the bathroom, holds about four rolled towels plus a couple bottles on the side. The casters are small and plastic so they catch a little on my bath mat, but on tile they roll fine. For 30 bucks I'm not complaining.

Fits the gap perfectly

I measured the space next to my dryer three times before ordering because I've been burned before. 10.2 inches deep is exactly right, it slides in with maybe a quarter inch to spare. Now the towels that used to live on the floor have a home and I can still get to the outlet.
