Rotating Coffee Pod Tower, 40 Nespresso Original Capsules, 14.8 in

$27.99
Finish

Fits if: forty Nespresso Original capsules - the small tapered ones. They slot into three vertical columns of wire cradles around the centre post, and the whole carousel turns as one piece. Needs 4.5 in of counter and 14.8 in of clear height

Not for: capsules are not included - the tower arrives empty. Sized for Nespresso Original capsules: the bigger dome-shaped pods (Vertuo), the flat discs (Tassimo) and soft coffee bags will not sit in these cradles. Not a sealed container, so keep it away from a steamy sink. Nothing should hang from the top ring. Not dishwasher safe

Size: 4.5 in across and 14.8 in tall (11.5 x 11.5 x 37.5 cm), with a flat round base. Net weight 1.3 lb (580 g). These are the maker's numbers off their spec card, measured by hand, so allow a small tolerance

Load: holds 40 Nespresso Original capsules

Forty capsules, loose in a drawer

You know how it goes. Buy a box, tip it into the drawer, then spend the next month digging for the flavour you actually want. Half of them roll to the back. You buy more because you cannot see what you still have.

This is a stand for forty of them. Nespresso Original capsules, the small tapered ones. Three columns of wire cradles around a centre post, and the whole carousel turns. Spin it, find the one you want, lift it out. Your drawer goes back to being a drawer.

Where it actually fits

Across the base it is 4.5 in. Up, it is 14.8 in, so roughly two large mugs stacked. It lives on the counter next to the machine, on a pantry shelf, or on a desk in an office kitchen. Nothing to drill and nothing to mount, so it lifts off and comes with you when you move.

Net weight is 1.3 lb, which is enough that it does not wander across the counter when you spin it.

Two finishes, same tower

Matte black, or silver. Same 4.5 in base, same 14.8 in height either way.

One honest note: the cradles are shaped for Nespresso Original capsules. The bigger dome-shaped pods (Vertuo), the flat discs (Tassimo) and soft coffee bags will not sit in them. Capsules are not included. The tower arrives empty.

Keeping it clean

It is wire, so it collects a little dust. A damp cloth handles that. It is not a dishwasher item, and it is not a sealed container, so keep it out of the steam zone right beside the sink.

What you get: one iron wire capsule tower, 4.5 in across and 14.8 in tall, holding forty Nespresso Original capsules. Choose matte black or silver.

Great for pods, tricky on the counter

The tower itself is well made and holds forty capsules without any issue. My problem is it takes up a chunk of counter space at the base and I have a tiny kitchen, so I ended up moving it to the pantry. If you have the room, it is a good buy.

Works, but not for soft pods

I bought this hoping to organize a mix of capsules and soft coffee bags. The Nespresso Originals sit fine, but the soft bags just flop over in the wire cradles and fall out when it turns. Fair product, just not as versatile as I hoped.

Solid, just taller than I pictured

I knew it was 14.8 inches but it still felt taller than I imagined once it was on the shelf. It fits under my upper cabinets with maybe an inch to spare. No issues with the wire or the rotation after a month of daily use.

Fine, but dust shows on black

The matte black finish is sharp but it shows every speck of dust in my kitchen, so I wipe it down more than I expected. That said it holds forty pods, spins smoothly, and got my drawer back, so I am keeping it.

Wish the base was slightly wider

It does exactly what it says and looks clean on the counter. My only gripe is the 4.5 inch base is a touch narrow for how tall it is, so if I spin it too fast with a full load it wobbles a little. Normal use is totally fine though.

Good but not for Vertuo

I did not read closely enough and tried to put my Vertuo pods in here first. They do not fit at all, which is my fault, so I gave the tower to my sister who has an Original machine and she loves it. The wire and rotation feel solid for the price.

Holds all forty with room to spin

I counted and it really does take forty Nespresso Original capsules. The cradles hold the small tapered pods snug, and the whole carousel turns without any of them popping out. I keep it on the pantry shelf and grab a pod before I even walk to the machine.

Moved it to three apartments

I have moved twice with this thing and it just lifts off the counter and goes in a box. No drilling, no mounting hardware lost in a drawer somewhere. It has held up fine and the matte black has not chipped at all.

Nice coffee corner organizer

I set up a little coffee corner on my counter with the machine, a mug tree, and this tower. It holds forty pods in three columns and the rotation means I can see every flavor without moving anything. My wife stopped complaining about the mess.

Easy to wipe down

I have had mine for about two months and it does collect a little dust on the wire, but a damp cloth takes care of it in ten seconds. I keep it away from the sink so steam is not an issue. Still looks brand new.

Bought a second for the office

I liked the first one so much in my kitchen that I ordered another for the office break room. It sits on the counter by the office machine and people actually put their pods back now instead of leaving them everywhere. The height is about two mugs stacked, so it fits under the upper cabinets fine.

Heavy enough to stay put

At 1.3 pounds it does not slide around when I spin it, which was my main worry. I keep it next to the machine and turn it with one finger while I am still half asleep. The silver matches my kettle and toaster nicely.

Finally cleared out the drawer

I was so tired of digging through a drawer full of loose capsules every morning. This holds all forty of the Nespresso Original pods I had rolling around, and now the drawer is just for utensils again. Worth every bit of the twenty eight bucks.

Looks good on open shelving

I keep mine on an open kitchen shelf where people can see it, and the matte black actually looks intentional rather than messy. The wire is thin but the whole thing feels sturdy. I have about thirty pods in it right now because I ran out of one flavor.

Took two minutes to set up

There is basically no assembly. It came as one piece and I just set it on the pantry shelf and started loading pods. My old system was a clear plastic bin where everything just piled up, so being able to spin and grab is a real upgrade for my morning routine.

Fits my counter perfectly

I measured before ordering and the 4.5 inch base fits in the little gap between my coffee maker and the wall. I counted out forty capsules and they all dropped in without any wobble. The spin is smooth even when it is full, which surprised me for the price.
