The finish and rust resistance are exactly what I wanted. My only issue is the bar sits pretty close to the wall so thick folded towels can rub the paint. Functional set overall, just a tight clearance.
My bath towels are wider than 23.6 inches folded so they drape a bit past the ends of the bar. Not a dealbreaker but I wish I had measured my towels, not just the wall. The steel quality is good.
I mounted the bar on painted drywall and it is rock solid. Tried the ring on my textured plaster wall and it did not sit flush, so I moved it. Just know your surface is flat before you drill.
The ring is 6.7 inches so it fits a hand towel nicely but a full size towel would bunch up. For a hand towel by the sink it is exactly right. The bar is the workhorse here.
Install was simple enough but the included drywall anchors feel a little light for a full bath towel. I swapped in my own toggles for peace of mind. The bar and ring themselves look great.
The bar is a true 23.6 inches so check your clear wall space. Mine barely fit between the tile edge and the door frame. Quality is good once installed, just plan your spot before drilling.
Screws, anchors, cover caps and the Allen key all came included. I did not have to dig through my junk drawer for hardware. Cover caps hide the screw heads nicely too.
The brushed finish does not show fingerprints the way my old polished chrome did. A quick wipe and it looks new. Both pieces have held up through a humid summer without any spotting.
I expected thin hollow metal at this price but these have some weight to them. The bar does not flex when I hang a wet bath sheet. Solid for the money and the brushed look hides water spots well.
I was not sure the ring would work on the side of my vanity but the flat panel took the two screws no problem. Looks custom. The bar went on the wall behind the door for bath towels.
I put the ring right beside the vanity and it keeps a hand towel exactly where I reach. No more towel on the counter getting soaked. The brushed finish wipes clean with one swipe.
Liked the first pair so much I ordered another for the guest bathroom. Same finish on both orders, no color difference at all. Wish they sold a three piece but two works fine for a small bath.
Got the 23.6 inch bar over the shower door area and it fits two folded bath towels with room to spare. The ring holds a hand towel right by the sink. Nice that I did not have to buy two separate things.
Our last set started showing rust spots by week three because of the steam from the shower. These have been up since early December and still look brand new. The 304 steel really does hold up in a wet bathroom.
Had both pieces on the wall in under fifteen minutes with just a drill and the included Allen key. The anchors held fine in my hollow drywall. Bar feels solid, no wobble when I grab a towel off it.
I was tired of my old chrome bar next to a nickel ring that never looked right together. These two came in the same brushed finish and honestly look like one set. Installed above the toilet for hand towels and the ring went next to the sink.
