Fits if: counters next to a sink, drainers, and any flat surface where a dish rack can stand. Takes dinner plates, side plates, bowls and mugs. Upper tier suits plates up to roughly 22 cm of lean depth.
Not for: dishwashers. Long soaking, standing water or a permanently wet sink surround. Plates wider than about 10 in across, if they need to sit fully inside the tier depth.

Bamboo racks and water don't get along
Read enough reviews of wooden dish racks and the same story turns up. It works fine for a few months, then dark spots show along the slats. Bamboo is a grass, not a hardwood — leave it sitting wet and it goes that way no matter whose name is on the box.
This one is bamboo with a lacquered finish, not bare wood. Water beads on it instead of soaking in. Wipe the slats down once a week and it keeps looking like the day it arrived.
When the dishes are done, it gets out of the way
The frame is two X-shaped sides. Swing them open and it stands on the counter loaded with plates. Swing them shut and it folds down to roughly 4 cm thick — thin enough to stand behind the bin or slide in beside the fridge. In a kitchen where the counter is also the prep area, that is worth more than another slot.
Measurements, so you can check your plates first
Open, it measures 43 × 26 × 21.5 cm (17 × 10.2 × 8.5 in). The upper tier is 22 cm deep and the slots sit 2 cm apart, so plates stand without touching each other. Fifteen slots across two tiers. The lower tier is shallower — that is where bowls and mugs go, and where water off the plates above drips past without pooling.
If your dinner plates are 10 in or wider across, hold a tape against that 22 cm tier depth before you order. Wide plates lean further out than side plates do. We would rather you checked now than packed it back up.
Care
Don't leave it standing in a puddle. Shake it off, wipe the slats every week or so, and keep it out of the dishwasher. The lacquer helps; it does not make bamboo waterproof.
