Where the colander goes when the sink is the whole workspace

My sink opening is 15 in wide and the counter beside it is 9 in. A colander sits down in the bowl, so the bowl is gone. A flat drying mat lies over the drain and everything pools on top of it.

This basket sits across the sink instead. The two arms slide out until they rest on the rim and the basket hangs over the drain. Rinse the greens, lift the basket, done. The water goes where it was already going.

The mesh is tight enough that berries and rice stay in. That matters more than it sounds - a wide-gauge basket just lets the small stuff through and you rinse twice.

Three sizes, because sink openings are not one size. Medium spans 11.6 to 16.3 in (29.5-41.5 cm), Large 13.0 to 17.3 in, X-Large 14.6 to 20.3 in. Measure inside the rim, not across the counter - the arms have to land on the rim itself.

Steel is 304, mesh welded to the frame, no coating to chip. It also stands on its side in a 3 in gap when you are done with it, which is the only reason it does not live on my counter.

One thing before you order: check the rim. An apron-front sink with a sloping front edge has nothing for the arms to sit on.
