Under-Cabinet Tissue and Roll Holder, No-Drill, 9.5 in

$32.99
Finish

Fits if: a kitchen wall unit or a bathroom mirror cabinet with a flat clean underside. Takes one kitchen roll on the bar, or a box of tissues in the front opening, or both at once - the bar and the opening sit on the same back rail

Not for: textured, greasy or damp surfaces - the pad needs a flat clean face. Not a shelf, so do not set anything down on top of it. Not a refillable dispenser for loose sheets. The maker publishes no load rating for this product, so we do not quote one

Size: 9.5 in long, 4.5 in deep and 4.0 in tall (24.2 x 11.5 x 10.2 cm). The maker's own product card adds that hand measuring means about half an inch either way. The pack it ships in measures 10.6 x 4.7 x 4.7 in (27 x 12 x 12 cm)

Load: holds 1 kitchen roll on the bar, or 1 box of tissues in the front opening, or both at once

Where does the kitchen roll actually live?

Ours lived on the sink edge, soaking up water at the bottom. Then it moved to the counter, where it took up space that was already tight. The tissue box lived on top of the microwave, which meant standing up every time somebody needed one.

This is a single bracket that goes under a cabinet and takes both. A bar on the side for the roll, an opening at the front for the box. Nothing sits on your counter any more.

Two jobs in one piece

The bar sticks out on one side. A kitchen roll slides onto it and turns, and you tear off what you need. At the front there is a long rectangular opening sized for a box of tissues, with a small lip along the bottom edge that stops the box sliding out. The maker sells this as one unit doing both jobs, so you can load the roll and the box at the same time.

Sticking it under a cabinet

The whole back rail is the adhesive face, so it goes up on the flat underside of a wall unit or a bathroom mirror cabinet. No drill, no screws.

Before you order, take a tape measure and check two things: that the underside is flat and clean, and that nothing else is already stuck up there. It is the same advice we would give for any adhesive mount, and it is the reason most of them fail.

The maker's product card gives the overall size as 9.5 x 4.5 x 4.0 in, with their own note that hand measuring means about half an inch either way. Steel carries the body and aluminium is the bar - that is their split of the materials, not our guess about which part is which.

Two finishes

Gunmetal gray or warm white. Same size, same price. Gunmetal disappears against stainless steel appliances; warm white sits better under pale cabinets. Both are powder coated, which is the finish the maker lists.

What you get: the holder in the finish you pick. Paper is not included.

Held up through a humid summer

Bought it in early spring and it's been in our upstairs bathroom through the sticky months. No sag, no rust, and the roll still spins like day one. I checked the underside with a level before sticking it and I think that prep is why it's held so well.

Wish the tissue lip was deeper

It's a solid little holder and the steel feels durable. My problem is the lip along the bottom of the tissue opening is shallow, so a lighter box can slide forward a bit when you pull a tissue. I wedged a folded napkin behind the box to snug it up. Works now, but I shouldn't have to rig it.

Does both jobs, one small gripe

Nice that one piece holds the roll and the tissue box instead of two separate mounts. My gripe is the bar is on one side only, so under a narrow cabinet it may not line up where you want it. Not a dealbreaker, just plan your placement before peeling the backing.

Warm white under pale cabinets

I went back and forth between the two finishes and picked warm white for our cream cabinets. It reads almost like part of the cabinet, not an add on. My husband had it stuck up in under five minutes, no tools at all.

Sizing note saved me

Their own note says hand measuring can be off by half an inch and mine was right at 9.6 inches, so basically on spec. It fit my cabinet with maybe a quarter inch of clearance on each side. Docking one star only because the tissue opening is a hair narrow for the thicker boutique boxes.

Fine, adhesive is the weak point

The holder itself is well made and does both jobs as described. My issue is the adhesive, it let go after about ten days on a cabinet underside that I thought was clean. I pressed it back on and it's held since, but I keep an eye on it now. Not angry, just be aware.

Under the microwave shelf

Mounted it under the shelf above the microwave, which is where the tissue box used to live anyway. Now I can grab a tissue without standing up. The whole unit is about 9.5 inches so it fit between the shelf brackets with room to spare.

Sturdy steel, not flimsy

I expected something thin at this price but the body is solid steel and the bar is aluminum, which I confirmed by tapping both. Four weeks in with daily use and the adhesive hasn't budged even in a humid bathroom. No rust spots so far.

Good, but check your roll size

Works well for a regular roll of paper towels, but the jumbo rolls from the warehouse store are too fat to spin freely, they drag on the bracket. Regular rolls are perfect. The tissue slot in front is sized right for a standard box.

Freed up real counter space

Small kitchen, every inch counts. This cleared the spot where the roll and the tissue box both used to sit, and now that area holds my cutting board. The bar is long enough that the roll doesn't rub the cabinet door when it turns.

Rental friendly, no holes

I rent and my lease is strict about holes in cabinets, so adhesive was the whole point here. It went up under the cabinet over the coffee station and holds a roll plus a tissue box without sagging. When I move out I'll just peel it off.

Bought a second for the bathroom

Liked the first one so much in the kitchen that I ordered another in warm white for the bathroom cabinet. The white is a soft off white, not stark, and it blends with our painted cabinets. Same easy stick on both.

Gunmetal matches my appliances

Ordered the gunmetal to go under the cabinet next to the stainless fridge and it basically vanishes against it. The powder coat has a slight texture but nothing that looks cheap. Roll spins smooth, no squeaking.

Measure first, I almost didn't

I read the note about checking the underside before ordering and I'm glad I did, because my first cabinet choice had a lip that would have blocked the adhesive rail. Moved to the next cabinet over and it went on flat. Holding solid after three weeks with a full roll and a box of tissues.

Tissue box out of the way

I put this inside the bathroom mirror cabinet since I was tired of the tissue box eating counter space next to the sink. The box slides into the front slot and the little lip keeps it from wandering. The roll bar on the side holds a standard roll fine, though a mega roll is a tight squeeze.

Finally off the sink edge

Our paper towels used to sit right next to the faucet and the bottom roll was always wet. I stuck this under the upper cabinet above the counter and now the roll hangs free and dry. Took maybe two minutes to install after I wiped the underside down with alcohol.
